Network Streaming & Bandwidth Limitation
* Sigh* – With data storage being centralized in my network, the issue of bandwidth and speed of the network arises. I’ve been moaning about the inability to stream videos properly and the file transfer rates for quite a while. Considered switching network equipments, to IEEE 802.11n and Gigabit switches but… What do I with my trusty old Linksys WRT54GS then? Which N-router has excellent support for third party firmware (DD-WRT, Tomato) and N-cards compatible with linux… Can I get it easily in Malaysia?
